Doctor will assess the keloid first and depending on the site he will discuss treatment options such as intralesional steroids, debulking with laser surgery ranging from carbon dioxide laser to pulse dye laser therapy, the latter is used if the lesion is pink to shrink the lesion including intralesional methotrexate and steroid therapy.
